The Department of Transport have appointed Richard Ellis to act as
their property advisers for the flotation of Railtrack and to provide
the Government with advice on the property aspects of other elements
of railways privatisation.
NOTE TO EDITORS
The Secretary of State for Transport announced on 24 November that
the Government was to privatise Railtrack by Stock Market flotation
within the lifetime of the present Parliament (PN 452).
