Engineering work at Kingsferry Bridge, the road and rail link to the Isle of Sheppey, is scheduled for the night of Friday 12 September 1997.
Engineers will be carrying out essential work between 0030 and 0430. During this time the bridge will be closed to road traffic.
The work has been planned by Railtrack in consultation with the local authority and the emergency services.
