type Press release
As a result all services will run as per the published summer timetable and Guide to Anglia Railways, including the half-hourly Norwich – Ipswich – Colchester – London service, the London Crosslink service (between East Anglia and Basingstoke via North London and Feltham for Heathrow) and regular local services.
The current timetable offers the best mainline timetable ever and with even more new attractions to see in London (e.g. Tate Modern and the London Eye), taking the train to London is even more convenient.
Commenting on the news Tim Clarke, Managing Director, Anglia Railways said:
“I’m delighted we’re able to confirm that our passengers can enjoy a full, normal timetable next Monday and the following Wednesday. All the reasons why train travel is attractive – speed, frequency, comfort, value for money and excellent use of time continue to be true. We’ve increased mainline services by over 60% in the past 4 years and we have many good value fares available. We’ve put the post-Hatfield problems behind us and we look forward to welcoming many more passengers back on the train.”
