The Association of Train Operating Companies said today that it is deeply shocked by today’s accident at Potters Bar. ATOC Director General, George Muir, said: "Our sympathy goes to families and friends who lost loved ones today. Our thoughts are also with those injured and we hope they all make a speedy recovery. An investigation has already started and this will identify the cause and recommend actions to prevent further accidents."
